1,001 Books You Must Read Before You Die

1001 List

The 1,001 Books You Must Read Before You Die is an amazing literary list by Peter Boxall. I have made it a goal to read all 1,001 books before I die … and since I’m extremely behind, and I should be reading at least 30 of these books each year, odds are not very high, but I still love a challenge. It’s been awhile since I created this list (about 2-3 blogs ago), but I believe it was from the original edition in 2006. Changes have been made, new books added and others removed. That’s a lot of upkeep … so for now, I’ll stick with this one.

NOTE: Bolded books are those that I have already read. Italicized books are those I own but haven’t read yet.
